DID DEMOCRATS COVER UP BURRIS LIES TO GET STIM BILL PASSED?
I believe the vote was 60-38, not 61-37. I think Aurelius listed the first Senate vote on the 9th, not the one after it went through conference on the 13th.

That's true Tom. But Burris's vote only mattered on Cloture. Simple majority was needed for passage which the Dems got handily. The reason for the extra vote (61) on cloture was Kennedy. He actually did vote on cloture but not on final passage.

Your analysis of yesterday's elections in Chicago was interesting, and excellent as usual, Rick.
But picking on the North Side Juggernaut? I'm not sure that's a wise course of action.
Granted, I'm more pessimistic going into this season than I have ever been -- I can't see the Juggernaut winning more than 155 regular season games this year -- but are you sure you want to take us on?
(I’m still licking my wounds after the NFL Championship Game – like you I’m sure – so don’t pick on my ball club too much until at least the third week of April…)
